Supervisory Committee holds its first meeting

The Supervisory Committee of Prince Sultan’s Chair for Youth research and Hisbah Issues held its first meeting which was headed by Dr. Ahmad Negadi, King Abdulaziz University Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity.

The meeting discussed the chair’s strategic plan and the foundation of an implementation mechanism through the use of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) standard. In addition, the meeting resulted in a number of decisions that included holding two workshops. The purpose of the first workshop is to learn more about young peoples’ views and get them to participate in putting the chair’s plan. The second workshop will be presented to experts and executives in the fields of youth and hisbah issues.

In a statement by the chair’s Supervisor, Dr. Nooh Alshehri, he pointed out to the words of Dr. Sulaiman Alhabs, the Representative of the General Presidency for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice , who commended the pioneering role of King Abdulaziz University in the field of scientific chairs and its significant efforts to make this chair’s mission successful and facilitate its work.
