A delegation from KAU visit Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz
A delegation from King Abdulaziz University was received by His Royal Highness, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi, the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in his Azizeyyah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday, 11/02/1431. The delegation was headed by His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khaled Alangari, who was accompanied by a number of dignitaries among whom were His Excellency, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ali Alateyyah, His Excellency, Prof. Osama Tayyeb, King Abdulaziz University President, Dr. Abdurrahman Alyoubi, KAU Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nooh Alshehri, Supervisor Prince Sultan's Chair for Youth Research and Hisbah Issues, Sheikh Abdulaziz Alhumain, Head of the General Presidency for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice , his deputy and the Head of Scientific Chairs in the Presidency.
During the visit, the prince was presented with an overview of the objectives and strategic vision of Prince Sultan's Chair for Youth Research and Hisbah Issues which was co-founded by the General Presidency for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and King Abdulaziz University with the aim of enriching knowledge, contributing to conducting research and field studies related to youth and hisbah issues, analyzing those issues in depth and proposing effective ways to deal with them.
The chair endeavors to develop the performance of field work in the sphere of promoting virtue and preventing vice through raising the competence of the civil servants in this field.
Prince Sultan then gave his recommendations and showed his backing of the chair's program.
